The Recovery of Debts and Bankruptcy Act, 1993 (‘RDB Act’) and Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interests Act, 2002 (SARFAESI’) were introduced by the Ministry of Finance, to safeguard the interest of Banks and FIs so as to aid them in recovering their loans from the Borrowers.
